Pur Boutique Taco Bar
A prototype digital app for ordering your perfect taco.
App Overview
Pur Boutique Cabanas features a taco bar cooking up delicious custom-made tacos. The current ordering system requires patrons to fill out a physical slip with their desired order and hand it to a server. This app would allow customers to place orders digitally without the need for pencil and paper.

Incorporated line divider elements to provide separation between sections. Stroke borders with drop shadows were added to clearly indicate that orange and red elements are buttons. Began incorporating variety and unity to establish a hierarchy for fonts. Began standardizing font and typeface. The app was redesigned with a focus on the use of negative space.
Modifications using Gestalt principles:
- Common Region: Used two different colors to break the list elements into distinct sections organized by number of components.
- Proximity: Ensured that the small orange supplemental help buttons are close enough to their selection button to ensure the user knows they are paired together.
- Asymmetry: Made the buttons for Four elections and Zero elections larger.
